    It's a svcd...ii would use svcd2dvd.

    You can't, as the mpg isn't any std DVD resolution, and the audio has the wrong sample rate (48 kHz is DVD std, not 44.1). You have to reencode to DVD std (see top left, WHAT IS DVD).

    drop in convertX

    or use CCE , or one of the good free encoders to to convert it to the proper format .

    the output of convertX can be burned directly to DVD

    burn to CD as SVCD, your dvd player should play it, and there will be NO conversion quality lossess
