I've seen several post but have not found a good answer yet. I am copying down files from Tivo, converting to MPG format with Direct Show Dump and they play just fine in Windows Media Play. I am converting the files to DVD using Nero Vision and although the video is fine, the audio is considerably low. Is this a problem with Nero or inherit in converting MPG to DVD? What can I do to normalize the audio. It is just stereo audio.

NVE (I still use version 3) allows you to adjust the volume. Go to Edit and click on the checkmark (properties) or double click the thumb nail in the time line.

You can also run this app at the same time to get the levels equal.

Thank you for the assistance. I checked that out and Nero was lowering to volume to 33%. I have no idea why. I recreated the DVD with the volume adjusted back up to 100% and it worked fine.

    Thanks again.

If you are using NVE3 the latest version does that 33% thing. That's one of the reasons I still use NVE 3.1.0.21, which is set at 100%.

You can get it here (no_yt means NO Yahoo toolbar).
