Having converted all of DVDs to Nero Digital AVC with 5.1 soundtracks I now find that the playback volume is far too low when I am using stereo speakers. Is there a simple way to increase the volume without having to reencode them with 2 channel soundtracks? Firstly it will take too long and secondly my primary intention is to push the 5.1 through my surround amp but want to be able to use the same files on my laptop while I am away.
