    1st of all let me tell you that i have a movie which is on DVD9 disk and it is quite small in size ONLY 4.85GB! I want to copy it to normal DVD +/-R with conserving as much as possible from the original. I'm asking because the original quality is quite far from DVD quality and if the I compress it with improper software maybe it will be the same as rip it to divx...
    the dvd is not encoded...
    so any advice???

    1. Look for any audio languages you don't wish to listen to.

    2. Are there any extras you don't really need ?

    3. If either of the above are no go, then DVDShrink should do a pretty good job at squeezing 300-400MB out of it.
    If in doubt, Google it.
