So I capture video.
And I know someone (you can see the video at www.kh-vids.net and download it)
He somehow gets 320x240 video, gets it at quite a nice quality, and offers it for download (kingdom hearts scenes)
They're about 2mb for every 1 minute of video. How on earth does he do it?
I've tried all sorts of programs. I have Ulead Movie Factory, PVR Plus, WinAVI (is kind of buggy), WinVDR Pro, WinAVI Converter, and Windows Movie Maker.
Can someone please tell me how I could possibly capture video (in any format) and somehow get it to become the .wmv quality he has? Yet at such a small file size?
I need help fast. I have a project due tomorrow with this conversion info needed.

What I mean by "tried", I've tried to reproduce his quality at such a small filesize, but when I try to make the file that small, the quality is horrendous when I convert it. When I CAN reproduce the quality, the filesize is much much much bigger than theirs.

I find that the High Quality video (small) profile in Windows Movie Maker gives pretty good results and low filesizes. Of course quality is largely dependant on a good, clean source to begin with.
If in doubt, Google it. -
Download Windows Media Encoder which will give you more options for custom settings to experiment with.

It isn't difficult. Give us an example AVI clip (just 10-20 seconds) and we'll write you a script which you can use over and over again.
