  1. i'm trying to backup a movie i have and i've been able to rip it, but dtox shows me that it contains cells/chapters/layers...i know how to eliminate these if i burn the movie only but is it possible to delete them and burn the disc intact with the original menus?

    All movies contain "cells/chapters/layers".

    Do you mean "Zero Cells"?

DTOX does not give you the option to remove "Zero Cells", if you're making a Full Disc Copy. (You won't need to)

    How recent is the movie?

  3. it just came out, i was able to figure it out about 30 minutes after posting this message by using mydvdedit and a little bit of experimenting, it still pauses at the point where the zero cells existed but all i have to do is hit fast forward on the remote and it picks starts the next chapter...

I have also used MyDVDEdit to remove bad cells without any problems. It sounds like you didn't quite remove all the bad cells.

  5. i checked the video_ts folder with detox and they were no longer there, it could be my dvd player that's causing the problem or i need to add something to one of the menus in mydvdedit...
