just got myself a geforce 7300gs. Had a 6800GT before until it died recently, and the tv-out was working fine with that one. I have a widescreen tv connected via a s-vhs cable.
When I used tv-out before and wanted to watch a 16:9 movie on my tv, I just chose the "4:3" in aspect ratio on BSplayer, and it stretched the picture on my tv so it filled the whole screen. But now, it sends the signal in 16:9 no matter what i choose. And even if the movie is in 4:3. There is no response if I try to alter between 16:9 and 4:3. And the whole picture is to small. there are black borders all around showing the desktop on my tv. I know I can zoom using the "device adjustment" in the nvidia drivers, but the ratio is all wrong. When I play a movie in fullscreen on the tv, two small borders are showiyng, and its not letterbox-borders. when in dual-view, the borders are gone, but the signal is still 16:9 no matter what.
Updated my drivers, and codecs, but nothing helped.
    Anyone who can help?

alright, found out myself after searching other forums. There seems to be an issue with the drivers. By using the 84.21 I can go back to changing the aspect ratio. But I am not that happy with using such an old driver. But at least I can watch movies again with correct aspect ratio.
