Hi all
I am very new to video editing, although I worked with film for about 20 years.
I have Premiere Pro and have been working my way through the Total Training videos. At one point in the video, the instructor has me pull up the "Bars and tone", connect my camera and then scrub through the bars and tone. I can see it on my camera, and I can hear it on my computer, but I cannot hear it on the camera
I have checked the camera to make sure the sound was turned up, and it was.
I am using a Panasonic PV GS15. As I said, I am unsure why I can get the picture but no sound. Any ideas?
Thanks

Somewhere there is a preference setting to monitor audio from the computer speakers or over the IEEE-1394 port. I use the latter so that I can monitor audio as it would go to tape. I feed the ADVC (or DV camcorder) audio into my sound system.

Thanks, ED. I'll give that a try.
I didn't think it was a problem, as I could see the image and hear the sound...just not where I was supposed to hear the sound.
