When I capture scenes (mpg-files) from the videocamera Canon Legria FS36 into Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0, a few scenes sometimes are captured without the sound track. Also when I play the mpg-files in Real Player etc, the sound is gone. But when I play these scenes in the camera, the sound is there. What can be the matter?

You mentioned trying the files in real player, what else have you tried playing them in? Use mediainfo and post the information. It's likely going to be a codec problem.

Try open the mpg in mediainfo and see if contains any audio track at all. Or it might be two tracks.

And this is not analog capturing. Moving you to our camcorders forum.
