I use a Panasonic MiniDV camera and import footage to VideoStudio (I've successfully used both 9 & 10).
However, two friends have Panasonic HDD cameras (slightly different models). When I import their footage, there's no sound, though sound can be heard if I play it through other programs. It seems VideoStudio doesn't recognize whatever audio format is being used by the camera's.
One of these friends has VideoStudio 11 and it works fine with his.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark.

I guess MPEG1 Audio Layer 2 if it's a mpeg2 recorder.
