Ahhh the old Texas Instruments 99/4a, my first computer. The worlds first 16 bit home computer running at a whopping 3 mhz. With its eye-popping 16 color display and massive 16k of RAM, you can warm both your feet on the MASSIVE power supply, while suffering long term visual impairment because of the crappy RF modulator.

that was a fun ride through history

My first computer was a Commodore 64. I still have it and it still works ... as well as the 1581 drive (takes 3-1/2" floppies). I'm also the proud owner of a PONG game by Coleco that also still works. I may end up selling them --- someday.
P.S. FWIW, my favorite Commodore game program was "Seven Cities of Gold." I recently acquired the DOS PC-version of the game and am enjoying it. The graphics may be a bit outdated but the challenge remains the same. -
Make sure not to miss the interview the owner of the site did with the local news. Shows the computers in action and some cool old, rare video game systems.
