On my laptop it can use this program, but my desktop comes with an error that it can't read OGM. Avisynth may be the problem, but it can't get written onto the programs thing...i put it elsewhere but still the problem goes "can't read file" then a bunch of numbers. It tells me to either debug or close the program, but either way closes it. What's wrong...

The OGMs I usually run into are often Xvid with Ogg audio. Do you have a Xvid or similar codec installed? But OGM is a wrapper format and it may have multiple audio tracks and different codec formats.

I use ConvertXToDVD for easy conversions. Harder ones, I save out the audio with VirtualDub Mod and encode it separately from the video. Then I combine them back when authoring. There are likely better programs and methods, but I don't run into OGM files that often.
