    Hi there,

For some reason when I burn certain movies I've downloaded they play on my DVD player in a foreign language and I'm not sure why.

    Any input is appreciated.

  2. Can you open the source file in Gspot and post a screenshot? Also post your log file from the run with the wrong language.

Is this a question about SVCD or something else?

The reason I posted it here is b/c I use SVCD2DVD for converting but I will have to follow this up after it happens again as I deleted the original files thinking it was a simple problem to fix.

You say you ended up with the "wrong" language which implies your original source file contained more than one language? In order to ascertain where the discrepency occured we need to know the original type of file and the various stages of conversion it went through.

In the case of a multi language DVD it is not unknown for a software player to select one track as the default audio and for a standalone to select another.
