    I recently downloaded a movie and tried to open it, but failed.......the file is a RAR. file......does anyone know how I can play this......and convert it to a dvd to play in my dvd player?

    Use WinRAR to uncompress the file

    You need to use WinRAR to unpack your movie. Make sure you have all of the parts of the RAR files together in one folder. They will have extensions such as R01, R02, etc. Once you have unpacked it you can then determine how you want to view or burn it depending on what type of file it is.
