I'm trying to attached an old Samsung VP-K60 Camcorder to PC as a webcam.

The cables are round, yellow and white and are described as Audio and Video cables and fit into a Scart connector

    Thanks, Stephen

  2. You'll need an analogue capture card/box of some sort.

A dedicated USB webcam may prove cheaper.

Thanks John, but I want to stream the capture and the camcorder will definately give a better image than a webcam. What sort of capture box did you have in mind? I might be able to obtain a used one on Ebay for example

    Thanks, Stephen

(But, before you plump for one, make sure it supports PAL!)

One of these will do the job nicely http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=1196
although from what I've read about the video quality on older Samsung camcorders, the video quality from a webcam would be just as good.....
