Hi
I'm using Virtual Dub Mod to edit a subtitle in the video (an .ass file) . In order to do that, I have to save it in "Full Compression Mode" and I use the XviD Codec with the following settings: Simple Advanced @ L5 . Single . Quality: 3 (So output is around 160 MB)
However,
when it's done encoding the video has a lot of lag. It sometimes stops as if not all the frames are there (although they are because the lag occurs randomly). I tested it on several computers, so it's really a problem with the video (as the "raw" input video doesn't have this).
I tried to do this (the encoding) with other files too and absolutely no problems occured.
Could there be something wrong with the input video
but more importantly:
How do I fix it so that the video will be playing normally ?
Tnx in advance.
The video => moving slowly then jump to correct frame then moving slowely again
I've also tried other codecs, but they seem to give me the same problem
(In Direct Stream Copy and Fast Recompress (with same XviD settings) the video will result fine, but then there are no subtitles there...)
EDIT: sorry for the double post... i didnt know where it would fit.
