    hey i have downloaded some files from the net.
    its is a WMV file.
    113 MB : 7.57 min

    it sats that its is the ultra high resolution video.


    Average FPS : 30
    Resolution : 640 X 480

    I get the video but its very shaky....
    hmm... speed is slow video stops for a milli sec while playin....

    i am using P-3 processor. 650 MHz 256 MB ram...
    god knows wats happening..........

    I have tried ffdshow codecs....
    but no gain....
    even tried VLC player......but in that pic is even worse ....its like that it is melting.......

    please help me wat to do...

  2. What kind of graphics card do you have?

    If your graphic card doesn't support hardware acceleration and overlay, then the processor has to do a lot of work....

    ...also, if there is audio, Windows will always skip video frames to ensure smooth audio playback.

    Your processor is probably a little too slow for smooth playback of this file.

    i have NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 MODEL 64/MODEL 64 PRO

    display adapter as it is shown by the device manager....

    is there ny way i can make the file compatible to run on my pc....

    may be lower the resolution..
    frames ps....

    watever u ppl suggest...

    help....

    If VLC will play it, then click File>Open File point to the file and then check off Stream Saving and Advanced and recode to a mpg (mp1v and mpga). Don't try to play the file locally while recoding.

    An mpg will play in the Windows Media Player, an mp2 will not. An mp4 would be a smaller file, but if may not be any easier for a P3 to play. You could try making it an mp4 just to see.
