problem playing wmv files

hi ,
i have downloaded certain movies from torrentz.com , some of the movies doesnt plays as it says you need vidplayer to play these files , what should i do please help?

I would stop downloading files from questionable sources and make sure your antivirus programs are up to date. Drop one of them into MediaInfo and make sure it's really a video file and what format it really is. Quite a few WMVs from those type of sources are fake files or malware. Then try playing it with the latest version of VLC player.

And please read our rules before posting regarding Warez and copyrighted videos.

Whatever you do, don't download or install the player that files like this tell you that you need, unless you like viruses.
