Hi everyone, Im having a little trouble with dvds thats im burning. The problem is after i convert my avi files to dvd format, then burn them to disc I am always missing over half of the video. Everything converts fine and burns right. I am using allok AVI to dvd and nero. why is this happening to me to everything i burn that is pirated??? and yes i am adding all of the dvd files..someone please help me. THX.

Please read our rules before posting. Moderator redwudz
If they are not copyrighted and are converted properly and burn properly, try different DVD media. That's the most common problem with DVDs not playing correctly. If that fails, try a different converter and burning program. ConvertXToDVD works well. -
Get a DivX/XviD capable player. Can be had for about the same money as most commercial AVI to DVD offerings. No need for any conversions any more.

I should have mentioned, I dont like watching movies on a computer...the orginal avi files play fine on the comp, its only when I convert them to dvd files i have the problems of missing footage and there is more than enough space on the disc.

Get a DivX/XviD capable player
That an AVI plays fine on your computer is no indication of if it's error free, and suitable for conversion, as players can gloss over many problem spots, while an encoder expects each and every source frame to be decodable.
