I have a Canon ZR200 that I connect to my computer via firewire. I can capture from the device just fine. In both Avid Free DV and Adobe Premiere 6.5 the device works fine as a monitor in VCR mode. However, if I start recording on the camera - to output my project to DV - the camcorder stalls, jerks, and drops in blank blue screens intermittently. I've tried both SP and LP modes to no avail.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
