hey everyone c:
i'm currently using freemake video converter ver 4.0.1 and haven't had any noticeable issues with it.. until now
my TV is very picky with what type of file it will play via USB. so far, i've found that AVI is the best bet, but, after converting season 1 of "the secret circle" i noticed that some of the video itself had either disappeared or frozen on a frame, until the video had caught up to where it would start playing again. i've never had issues like this before (although i've only just recently started using freemake) so i'm really confused and have no idea how i could fix or prevent this from happening. the original MP4 files work fine, from start to finish, they just don't play on my TV.
the output i'm choosing for these files is preset to; TV Quality, XViD, MP3 then it says "size up to 640x480"
i really hope someone can help out! thanks for your time c:

i tried using WinFF but it ended up taking so long to convert just one file that i gave up haha. any other freeware you can recommend that converts to AVI? (keep in mind it's to play on my TV and it doesn't support HD or majority of the formats out there)
would the frame height and width be contributing to the problem do you think? it get's changed when i convert (it's a preset)
