  1. I use SimpleDivx to encode the DVD to Divx. Everything works fine exceprt that I chose AC3 instead of MP3 for sound. When playing the avi file, I realise that the sound level is very low compared to other "normal" file, although I turn maximum sound level at both the player and PC, the sound is barely audible while at the same speaker level, that is sometime too much for all other file.

    How can I set that in SimpleDivx.

    Use ac3 filter and boost/increase the ac3 volume on your computer. You can't do anythin in simpledivx to change the ac3.
