  1. Hi

I have a sort of digital camera (not great quality) it's a traveler DV3010
When I record a video file with it it's in the ASF format.
Now i want to encode video files on my computer so i can view them on de camcorder (or on television using the camcorder)

So now i first need to know the exact properties of the asf file.
    This is what I found:

    Audio:
    11kHz mono 4bits 1580kpbs
    Video:
    1483kbps 24bit video 1 (i think mpeg 4)

But how can i know the exact properties (program like g-spot for asf?)

And how can i encode normal avi files to asf with these properties.

    Greets

  3. Ok, i tried media info and this is what I've got:

    320x240
    1479Kbps
    FFmpeg MPEG-4

    44Kbps 11KHz Mono ADPCM

How do I convert a random file to this format?
    (Windows Media converter?)

SUPER uses ffmpeg as one of it's encoding engines. You could try using SUPER with those settings to encode the file. Not sure if SUPER will give it the .asf extension (not sure if anything will), but you can change that later. Output as .wmv to begin with.
