  1. First thanks to which can help me. Single I am looking for the concrete characteristics that it needs a MPEG1 to incorporate it to a project of DVD without reconverting it.

    As far as the video:

    MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps

But the Audio one I believe that it must be to 46.000
    Stream type MPEG1-Audio Layer 2
    Sampling frecuencia: 46.000 ????
    Chanel mode: Stereo
    Bitrate: 192 ?????

for the conversion I use the TMPENG, and I want create a Template.

for Edition I use Ulead DVD WorkShop and I want no reencode the MPEG1 source of proyect.

    Thank's

    Audio should be 48 khz.
You can use the VCD template, but change the audio to 48 kHz. That's all.
If DVD Workshop can be kept from reencoding it is another story...

To get a little more quality (sacrificing space of course), you can up the mpeg-1 CBR to 1856kbps.

DVD WS 2.x can handle dvd-compliant mpeg1 -- just don't check the "Convert to disc template" on the video tab (in the editing step).

DVD WS 1.x can also handle it, but it had a different switch to bypass re-encoding -- I think it was on the "Make Disc" (burning) page -- "do not convert compliant file" (NOTE: this switch was available after applying one of the the DVD WS 1.x update patches).

    Regards,
    George
