I downloaded a video file that is in the bin/cue format. It's 801 MB in size. What should I do to get it to play on my dvd player in the best quality possible?

Burn it to CD with a image burning program. Try ImgBurn, or Nero can do that. But what format is it? A BIN/CUE is just a container that can have just about any format in it.
You might try playing it on a computer first with VLC media player. It should play the BIN file. Then you can also check the format. -
k thx man appreciate it. It's in mpeg 1 format. and here's some other info:
Source: ...... TELESYNC.XViD - VCDUS
Format: ...... Bin/Cue
Chapters: .... Every 5 Minutes
Runtime: ..... 108 Minutes Approx
Video: ....... Mpeg1/NTSC
Audio: ....... 44.1kHz/224kbps/Stereo
Res: ......... 352x240/23.976fps
Size: ........ 801Mb(Bin file) -
It's a VCD format made for a CD. But you will have to burn it in Mode 2 to fit on a 700MB CD. I would give ImgBurn a try first. Then maybe Nero: 'Recorder>Burn Image'.
If no luck with the filesize being rejected, you may have to convert to DVD after extracting the file from the image container. I suspect the quality is pretty poor, so I would view it first before trying to convert to DVD. -
Of course this is all covered in the STICKY at the top of the page.

Most likely, not all DVD players support VCD and/or SVCD.
