    I have a couple of different Philips DVD players that support Divx. How do I convert a mp4 file to a divx file that will play on my dvd player? thanks for any help.

    Try MP4Cam2AVI, it works great for converting MP4 files to divx AVI that will play on a DVD player and it's free and fast. One of the best pieces of free software that I have found and it gets a 10 out of 10 rating.
