Hi ya.
Samsung HD860 dvd player.
This unit doesn't play NTSC disks on a PAL TV properly.
I have tried on 2 PAL only TV's.
The colour seems to be ok, but the screen 'rolls'.
The unit detects that it has a NTSC disk and automaticaly changes the video mode to NTSC.
Is there a way to prevent this change?
I have tried to change it back manualy, but the unit refuses until you stop the disk.
Of which when you start the disk again, the unit automaticaly changes video mode to NTSC.
I could get a new PAL/NTSC TV of course, but my PAL TV is a nice piece of furniture and has very good sound, so I don't want to replace it.
So, Is there a way to prevent this unit from automatically changing video modes?
