Hi everyone, i just bought a pci express capture card to find out the my laptop has an older pci slot. Anyone know of any adapter that would enable me to still use this pci express card on my laptop? any adapter that fits into the older pci, or any usb adapter?
Thanks,
Yoed

A PCI-E card would require a different motherboard, so no way to adapt it to your present system.

There is such a thing as a PCI to PCI Express bridge but they probably won't fit in a laptop, require that you write your own drivers, and cost more than just buying a new capture card.
