I have some older SVCD disks that I created 3-4 years ago. They play on the computer I created them on, and they played on the DVD player I had back then. I am now using a HTPC, and they don't play on it in either of TheaterTek, Media Player, or Zoom PLayer.
I installed the GPL MPeg 1/2 Directshow decoder. That didn't help (i.e. Windows Media Player says 'One or more codes are required').
Next I tried installing the Dscaler 5008 Decoder. Still no good.
Any ideas?

try vlc next. Or mediaplayerclassic. Both have internal codecs from what I understand.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
