  1. converted from d2v to mpeg and where the file is suposed to be , well it is there but it shows to be nmothing . the file has 0 kb , and does nothing when played??? any help would be much appreciated.

  3. i have the mpeg nmow , but ive tried burning it wioth nero and adaptec easy cd 5 , no dvd will recognize it.

    Look under CONVERT to the left to encode to a compliant Mpeg

    The file must be corrupt, or you encoded it to some variant. If it's a VBR variant stream use an SVCD authroing program, a CBR use VCD

  7. i got it to burn and it can play in media player but no dvd see it still . i explored the cd and it burned 5 folders one of them says Mpegav inside that folder there is the file Avseq01.dat , it plays in meadia player . still doesnt recognize in dvds rom or stand alone .

    since you're using nero and the file name of the .mpg file is Avseq01.dat, i'm assuming u made a VCD and used nero's VCD template to burn the .mpg file?

    if you actually made an SVCD, then you should use nero's SVCD template and the .mpg file on the SVCD discs should be Avseq01.mpg

    o i forgot to mention, if you do wanna make SVCDs. make sure your standalone dvd player can play them. check out the dvd compatability guide on VCDhelp.com
