okay guys, i got an avi file, 2 ogg files and an ssa file,

the avi has no audio streams,

what i need is a dvd authoring program that will allow me to mix all 4 files together into on dvd file.......

i have dvdlab and tried converting the avi to vob using divxtodvd then adding the ogg and ssa files and authoring and burning with dvdlab, this did not work, when i burned i put it on my dvd player and all it did was play the video, didnt detect the audio streams or the ssa subtitle...... can anyone recommend anything?

Did you test any of this on your PC before burning _ to see if you had actually converted the audio streams or added the subs ?

How did you add the subs in DLP ?

What is the relationship, if any, between the avi file and ogg files ?

Also, you cannot mix titles with different audio formats into the one titleset, otherwise you get odd audio playback. I suspect you put the avi title with no audio first, and this is why you get no audio at all. You have ot put the title with no audio into a different VTS to the titles with audio.

hey, thanks for the quick reply

i originally had mkv file, but could not burn it to dvd, had a million problems with it, so now im taking it in a different direction, i demuxed the mkv, out of it i got an avi file, the 2 oggs, one for each audio stream on the mkv, and the ssa from the subtitle stream of the mkv...

i first converted the avi to vob with divxtodvd, then put it into movie one on DVD lab, then i dragged the audio streams into movie one as well, then added the subtitles to movie one, made a quick button menu (didnt really design anything as i was just testing to see if it worked first), then burned, not sure why the audio didnt work,

how do i put the title with no audio into a different vts to the titles with audio?

Did you convert the ogg audio to something else ? DVD Lab Pro doesn't support ogg audio, and doesn't convert for you. Also, you add subtitles by double-clicking the subtitle track under the movie, then importing the subs.

Sounds like the major problem here is lack of knowledge about the software you are using, rather than it doing anything wrong. Take some time to read the help files.
