There used to be a really great painting program which utilized vector brushes rather than pixel based ones. I believe it was called impression but I could be wrong. About a year ago I saw somewhere that Microsoft had aquired it and was now offering it under their own new name.
Basically every stroke you create was a separate vector image of very little file size, yet it appeared to be pixel based with all the of properties of any paint program. You could infinitely enlarge your finished work endlessly as it simply redrew it the larger size without loosing quality as a pixel based image would.
If anyone knows of the new name please post it as I really need to buy this for a project.
I've searched for it but no luck
Thanks
