vob freeze killing dvdshrink transcode

I'm just trying to back up my copy of PotCMC. I managed to rip the vobs with anydvd ripper, and i'm trying to shrink it to dvd-5 with dvdshrink. the problem is that it keeps failing around 94% saying it can't read it or similar. after browsing through the vobs to that point i notice that for 20s the movie gets all jumpy, but its all there. it's just before the credits. as soon as the credits roll, everything's back to normal. it's just that 20s or so of barbossa coming down the stairs where the video starts slowing down and what not. anyone have any suggestions/solutions

try fixvts. This program runs through the folder and repairs any defective vts files, whether from copy protection or poorly designed dvd structure. It specifically helps DVDShrink open files

didn't work. ran vtsfix through the whole dvd, but still failed at 95%. it says that it can't seek, and something about a parameter being incorrect.

A new version of vtsfix came out. did you ever find a solution to your problem??
