  1. Hi,

I have an iso that contains lessons in mov format.

    There is no video_ts file.

There are just mov files and a folder with exercises in it.

It's a little too big for a regular DVD so I'd like to shrink it with DVDshrink.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You cannot use DVDShrink for a video file.

sorry but mov files are not part of a normal type video dvd. you have some other form of video disc. most likely it's just a data files on a disc. you might be able to convert it to a dvd with something like avstodvd

  4. thank you both.

    That was fast.

I wll try avstodvd and let you know how it worked.

So without using a double sided DVD is there no other way to go?

You cannot burn an .MOV file to a DVD and have it play in a DVD player.

I just want to have a DVD that will play on my pc.

Is that what you mean, or are you referring to a stand-alone?

    Thanks for replying,

    Michael

if you are just playing the files on your computer you can divide them in half and burn each bunch to a single sided dvdr.

If the .ISO file it too big for a DVD....then you cannot burn it to a DVD....simple as that.
Mount the ISO image as a "virtual drive" with something like Daemon Tools. Daemon Tools Lite
    is free.

  9. Thank you all.

    A great forum!

I will either buy a double sided disk today or just split the lessons over two DVDs

I learned something which is always good
