    Why is it I can use Quicktime pro to transcode 3gp files and audio files are enabled. When it comes to mpeg and avi files the story is much different QT does not seem to like audio tracks as MPEG-1 Layer 2 as CBR and video as VBR nor it likes avi encoded as DIV3/div4 and MPEG-1 Layer 3?
    I do not know what other software can give me info an 3gp files like gspot so I may have a point of reference to work with QT.

    That would be because QuickTime is a piece of crap. Should handle DivX 3 if you install the 3ivX component though.
