I'm new here but not a newbie. Recently registered SVCD2DVD and would like to know if it's possible to get large .TS files (20 g+} processed into 2 or more DVDs.
I've noticed that some 1080i files have what seems to be 2 consecutive copies of a film. If these are broken into parts, the output from SVCD2DVD jumps from one section of the movie to another. If the entire file is used, the resulting bitrate is too low when using DL and Autofit. I'm using single-pass encoding and would like to get the full 9000kbs available. The raw .TS files run well over 2 hours.
Any help appreciated. TIA.
