Maybe,
In the subtitle window is an option called ‘time code is written in’. At first I selected the ‘real time (25&29.97 fps)’ with the result that the generated subs are out of sync. When I select the ‘Non drop frame (30 fps)’ and generate the subtitle stream, they are perfectly sync. -
There's nothing wrong with the times - read my answer on this thread:
https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=1613812#1613812
And as Baldrick just quoted, use NDF for the DVD subs.
Though it looks like in version 2.21 they changed things:
-Changed, Fixed and Cleaned - Subtitle Timecode, now you should always use the Real Time 25fps & 29.97 fps settings for your subtitles. But there are two other options Correct if subs show early and Correct if subs show late, use these if at some point the DF/NDF is incorrect in your subtitles, this will correct it in the right dirrection and hopefully end the confussion about NDF and DF subtitles. -
hi,
i tried the NDF option and it looks like it has worked.
thanks for the replies!
