    i have started using dvd-lab pro 2 which is a great tool but i have one problem, when i import the subtitles, the times are different to the actual srt or sub file. Does anyone know why and how to fix this???

    i've posted a pic so you can see what i mean.

    In the subtitle window is an option called ‘time code is written in’. At first I selected the ‘real time (25&29.97 fps)’ with the result that the generated subs are out of sync. When I select the ‘Non drop frame (30 fps)’ and generate the subtitle stream, they are perfectly sync.

    And as Baldrick just quoted, use NDF for the DVD subs.

    Though it looks like in version 2.21 they changed things:

    -Changed, Fixed and Cleaned - Subtitle Timecode, now you should always use the Real Time 25fps & 29.97 fps settings for your subtitles. But there are two other options Correct if subs show early and Correct if subs show late, use these if at some point the DF/NDF is incorrect in your subtitles, this will correct it in the right dirrection and hopefully end the confussion about NDF and DF subtitles.
