    Yes, mpg is the format used as input for DVD creation, so that'd be a good choice.
    I'd suggest you recreate the real DVD from the ratDVD, then proceed from that.

    You can burn them all to dvd ... but mpeg's and avi's may be playable ... depending on format and audio type , and if you home dvd player support's there playback .

    As for ratdvd and adding more title's ...

    Use ratdvd to unpack that compressed file to normal expected video_ts folder and content .

    From here it is demux included title into sepearte video and audio source's .

    If you intend on using most dvd authoring package's , then source's video format / bitrate , audio format / bitrate all need to be the same to avoid problem's .

    Pgcedit is the only tool capable of allowing mixed content (not avi's) , but if content is of mixed format , each must be a seperate title ... and don't use the "play all" feature ...

    ======================

    Once that ratdvd file has been decompressed , you will find many guide's that will show you how to add more content in the guide's section in the forum .

  5. Hi all,

    I'm running into the same problem myself. Just downloaded the complete tv series DVD's & found that they've been compressed by this ratdvd format.

    WillHenderson, I'm no expert by no means, but looking at your screenshot you want to burn this straight to DVD after uncompressing the files. I tried this method myself & this ratdvd thing keeps on crashing at that part. But by the sounds of your original post you wanted to edit the files after un-compressing them? I'm currently tryng to just un-compress the files in a folder on my HD & will then burn directly via Nero. If you want to edit them after you've un-compressed them then this maybe the way for you to fo too?

    From what I've been able to gather from this site & various other forums, RatDVD was tried & failed miserably as it keeps on crashing & you can't un-compress using a 3rd part app.

    Personally, as soon as I've been able to uncompress the files I'm gonna un-install this RatDVD & think of it as a bad dream
    Don't you just love it when a plan comes together! :)
