  1. Hello Forum!

I downloaded a couple of movies (.avi) of e-mule and they were dubbed in Italian, anyone knows where I cand download the original audio tracks from?
I'm trying to find those original tracks and embed them in the .avi film.

Also one other movie I downloaded is a huge file but when I play it the srceen is frozen while the film timer (play bar) is actually running...
I tried to play it with Win Media Player/DivX/VLan with the same result...
Is there anyway to view this video?

Help with any of my questions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Arlec

Making the assumtion that we're talking about public domain movies here, and not illegal downloads of copyrighted material:
I don't think you'll find movie audio tracks as separate downloads. The odds for finding the whole movie in the desired language is much better.
Broken video files isn't uncommon, if you DL from unreliable/unknown sources. VLC plays most formats, and if that fails - try loading it in VirtualDub and save out a new version of it (direct stream for both audio+video).

  3. Use Gspot to see if you have a junk file. Some videos are fake.

    Dubbed in Italian ?

Those home-movie makers are really starting to get creative
    If in doubt, Google it.

Now, now jimmalenko. It could be quite innocent. I send home vids of my little lad to my uncle Wolfgang in Berlin, I always get them dubbed into German and include subtitles for his special friend from deepest Peru. To be really awkward I've even been known to send them in Xvid format so he has to convert them.
He's a liar and a murderer, and I say that with all due respect.

Maybe .... but surely your uncle would contact you directly if he had a problem with the audio or the subtitles ?

... and I would strongly doubt that the audio would be available to download elsewhere

The solution for the OP is simple - make sure beyond reasonable doubt that you're downloading what you think you're downloading, before you start downloading it - if there's a sample file it's a good idea to download that first. In this case, you'd probably be much better off looking for said movie in your preferred language and scrapping the files you've already downloaded.

  7. Humorous sarcasm aside, kindly ease off the thread-jacking please. Locking this as the OP's question has been answered.
