    I have a video in MPEG4 format and cannot see it with quick time, nero show and vlc. any help?thanks/Fabio

    what does mediainfo say?

    thanks with the last version of vlc it works.
    the video files are 2 how can I link them to do only one dvd (virtualdub doesn't work)?

    Are you wanting to convert them to MPEG-2 for a DVD that will play on a settop player? If so, don't join them. Let your authoring program set them up to play one after the other. You avoid a lot of problems with sync loss that way.

    If you are just burning them as a DVD data disc, then VD should be able to join them if you have the proper codecs installed. Being that only VLC plays them, I suspect you don't have the right codecs installed.

    And there are a lot of MPEG-4 formats. It depends on which one you have. Gspot 2.60 or Mediainfo should tell you which codec you need.
