Have happily used Video Studio for a long time, but now faced with family demans for a MPEG4 output. Share/create a video file lists it but comes up with a no codec comment. Corel, who I gather now own Ulead offer no support, except buy an expensive upgrade.
No desire to buy an upgrade. What are my alternatives , if any, ?

VS8/9 work with divx/xvid/other encoder installed. Find them under "share", "create video file", "custom", "microsoft avi", "options", "AVI", "compression", then choose encoder.
