Hi, I'm having trouble converting movie files on svcd2dvd, When i try to convert them into the dvd folders ready to burn they are not converting to 4.7GB but are staying at the size of the file when i downloaded it about 700mb and the quality of the movie is not very good,But when I do the same with a movie clip it works perfect,it converts to the size of a dvd and above as I sometimes have to use autofit.
I have checked through my settings but cannot solve this problem.
    Thanks in advance.

mpeg files are not reencoded (unless you are doing a framerate conversion)... so a 700MB mpeg will produce a 700MB DVD (approx). AVI material IS encoded to mpeg2. The size of the DVD is this case is dependent on the length (duration) of the source.

Is your source a mpeg file?

if you have already processed the files then there should be a log already too.

(Logs are kept in the 'logs' folder under where you installed SVCD2DVD) usually this is in C:\Program Files\BadgerIT\SVCD2DVD v2\logs

Mmm - that is like half a log! Can you "attach" the logs themselves? I will take a look in the morning. Cheers.

Well take a look at them (in notepad) and attache the one with the 700MB file that is causing you issues.
