Ok, ive had this problem with a couple of discs now. Ill rip them to the computer with dvd shrink. They play fine on my computer, i open them up with WMP etc, and can watch the dvd. However, when i burn them to a disc it won't play off the disc in my computer or dvd player. I don't think it is a media problem because it only happens with some dvds and i can still burn others.

  2. You need to burn them as "DVD video" and not "DVD-ROM".

are you sure you're burning them to proper dvd spec? (VIDEO_TS folder with correct files inside) ..and what kind of discs are you using? still could be a media problem, just cause one works doesn't means the next one will. i recently burned about 50 discs (FujiFilm), only to find out maybe 1 in every 3 played back...

I know im burning to the right specs, i burn every disc the same way, and i just burned one that worked, only certain movies don't work. Ive burnt them multiple times and they don't work each time.

I am using fuji film discs, but haven't had any problems with them accept on the certain movies

The movies i am having trouble with are Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2 and Shanghi Noon

Shrink's ripping capabilities are pretty rudimentary, and have not be updated in some time. It even struggles from time to time with basic CSS encryption. Try using RipIt4Me, which will use DVD Decrypter to rip (and create PSL files if necessary), FixVTS to clean the structure up, and then load it into Shrink, ready to go.
