I have xvid installed already. But it can't seem to playback divx 3. I have some muppet babies that are all encoded in divx 3. Thanks for any help.

ffdshow also has a Divx3 decoder. -
Hmm... I'm not sure I'd recommend installing DivX 3.11, though. DivX 4, 5 and 6 are supposed to have some backwards compatibility for anything encoded in DivX 3 (which is completely different from the later versions of DivX, just for anyone else reading this
), if I remember correctly. But I tend to also recommend ffdshow first, before DivX4/5/6.
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
