I am trying to figure out something. I edit video using Pinnacle studio 9. I have some video cd's from school that I need to convert somehow to be able to import into pinnacle and add to video i have shot. The Video cd's were made with microsoft movie maker I think. They have the .wmf on the end. The cd's won't even play on desktop player only on computer. How can I convert it to a file that pinnacle will import.

You might try SUPER. It can handle quite a few formats.

...or you could try load them in MovieMaker, export as DV AVI (very little quality loss).
Then proceed with usual DV AVI to DVD procedure (guides under CONVERT left).

You could have opened them in movie maker and saved them as DV avi for pinnacle to use, and saved yourself the trip to tape and back.

I tried that but Pinnacle wouldn't open it. I like the program but it sure is picky what files it will import.
