I have the files of a very simple menuless dvd (video_ts.bup/.ifo, vts_01_0.bup/.ifo, vts_01_{1-5}.vob). I either ruined the .bup/.ifo's somehow with PGCEdit, or they were ugly with my no-longer-available source and I made them worse. When I try to import the files with PGCEdit, I get a message saying that "The number of VTS stored in VIDEO_TS.IFO (0) doesn't match the real number of Title sets stored on disk (1)." I'd be willing to edit what I'm working with if someone would hold my hand through it, but I don't think that should be necessary.

I assume my vob files are still intact, so I was wondering if I could easily create a new dvd using them. If I understand correctly, I'm looking for how to make new bup's/ifo's for my vobs. I have no idea how to do this. Help would be appreciated. All I need is for this DVD to play in a DVD player.

    Try ifo edit.

Or try vob2mpg and get back to a useable mpg file and reauthor. EDIT - or use a program that can read video_ts folders like tmpgenc dvd author and make a new dvd folder with a new menu or no menu depending on your needs for the application.

    If in doubt, Google it.
