hi guys...this is the first time i have posted on this website and i hope you guys can help me.
i have 2 folders, one is Video_Ts and the other is Audio_ts. in the video_ts folder, there are .ifo, .bup and .vob....they are as follows
Video_ts.bup
Video_ts.ifo
Video_ts.vob
VTS_01_0.bup
VTS_01_0.ifo
VTS_01_0.vob
VTS_01_1.vob and so on
what has happened is that when i click on the .ifo, the menu does not work properly and is possibly an error in the VTS_1_0.vob file as i have read that it contains the menu and i wish to correct this error. additionally i have found that when the movie does play, it skips in random places but i am not sure what error is the due to.
i have read many tutorials that show how to extract the movie only using ifoedit but i wish to have the menu as well as the movie using any good programs available
hope you can help,
thanks

	Hi-

Instead of just clicking on the IFO, what happens when you play the DVD using a DVD player, such as PowerDVD, WinDVD, or Media Player Classic? What happens when you play the DVD in your standalone DVD player hooked up to your TV set? When I double-click on an IFO, nothing much happens either.
So, how are you getting it to play? If you're just double-clicking on a VOB file, it doesn't really mean much that it skips around. Again, play the DVD. My guess is that nothing's wrong. But there's not enough evidence in your post to be sure.additionally i have found that when the movie does play, it skips in random places but i am not sure what error is the due to.

hi, sorry for the delayed reply

when i tried to play the .vob's in media player classic, only some of the .vob files play. but the ones that do play tend to skip a few minutes or seconds of the movie every so often...does this mean that the files are corrupt?
for the .vob that cannot be opened by media player classic, it says "cannot render file"
