a 2 part question I would very much appreciate help on.
I have downloaded a large wmv file it was 100 Mb got message download complete and it isnt as there are only 80 Mb or so. I can play the file but it wont go into a video editor such as nero as it says file needs to be indexed. Please tell me how to do this.
b the site i download from used to allow download managers from which i could restart or continue an interrupted download now it doesnt and it seems my machine (running windows XP) stops in save as well short of the full download. How may i prevent this and ensurei get all the download
    help most appreciated thanks

Windows download supports resume for partially downloaded files, but only if the site supplying the files supports resume. Sounds like the site you are using is preventing it from functioning.

thats a cool picture thank you for your reply, however whats happening as per above is machine is telling me it is complete when its not, so asf can now index it (thanks to the answer above) and i can play the file or i can edit it. However i9f i want to complete the download the only way is to clear the IE temp cache and start all over again
    thank you
