    I have a DV camcorder that suits my needs, but the onboard microphone isn't doing the trick. I have the Samson C01u usb microphone, and I would like to capture video from the DV cam and the audio from the usb mic simultaneously in the Premiere capture utility .

    Can this be done?

    I don't believe you can do that. You probably will have to capture your video, then record your audio separately and import it into Premiere.
