I've used Pinnacle to create a video with a top menu, scenes and chapter points. I saved it in Pinnacle as an AVI file and would like to reauthor as a DVD. How do I create a DVD with the original Top Menu, scenes and chapter points from the Pinnacle compressed AVI?
(had to move as a compressed AVI to a computer with a DVD recorder).

You can't. You would have to output a compliant DVD structure, as by compressing everything to an avi, you have lost all the actual menu information. If you have output mutliple avi files (the main movie, the menu background etc) then you might be able to use all of these to create a DVD if you have authoring software on the PC with the burner. Otherwise, move the burner to the PC with Pinnacle and author correctly.
